Family outing for the Dixons

The 2s bounced back from Saturdays defeat with a comprehensive victory against Astley Bridge.
Highlights being Glenns 120 whilst Matt Trow,Charlie and Runi found some form with the bat ahead of next weekends Cup semi-final against Heaton all with good knocks as Westhoughton posted a seasons best 335-6.
Bridge were blown away for 100 as Jason and Abbass picked up the dangerous Ady Cooper and Steve Entwistle the latter being caught at fly slip as Runi positioned Kingy to maraud the third man area. With the top 5 dismissed Oliver Dixon replaced Abbass and bowled a good spell watched on by mum.dad, grandad, cousins, sister, girlfriend, friend of a friend, sports teacher, college pals as they cheered every wicket finishing with a 4fer helped by a smart catch at gulley by Trowie to account for Rami Patel.
This only left Jamie McAndrew to take the final wicket as Kingy collected a third catch of the game.

With Greenmount surprisingly losing to Heaton this bonus point win closed the gap at the top to just one point.
