Bradshaw battered

Bradshaw were put into bat on a green seamer and were reduced to 21 for 6 as Matt Fanning and Dan Higham tore into the top order batsmen. With Duxbury smartly caught in the gulley by Jason Scheepers and then Ryan Tierney out lbw not offering a shot Westhoughton were expecting to roll them over.Another brilliant one handed catch by Jason removed another of the senior players however a partnership of 50 ensued which was eventually broken by Dan Higham returning for his second spell as he held onto a smart caught and bowled chance.Dan finishing with 4wkts, Matt and Charlie with 3 a piece.
The innings closed on 83 as Charlie Honour picked up the last 2 wickets with consequtive deliveries.

In response Glenn Bullock and Matt Trow got off to a flyer reaching 40 before Matt got caught at mid off for 17.Hodgy joined Glenn who took the score to 81 before Glenn mistimed a drive and was caught at mid wicket gor 28.Jason went to pull a short ball but only top edged caught backward square.With rain on the way Hodgy hit the winning run finishing 22no
