Westhoughton struck early as Jason Dunning had the opener caught by Hodgy at slip and followed this up with Dan Higham taking a smart catch at third slip.Jason pulled up with a torn hamstring and had to be replaced by Simon Ashcroft who took the last wicket caught in the covers.
Dan Higham also took 3 wickets firstly bowled then Glenn took a catch at first slip as Hodgy parried the ball into the air before taking a caught & bowled.
In reply with the weather closing in Glenn Bullock and Matt Trow set about the total with vigour before Glenn was bowled bringing Sean Dunning to the wicket. The target was reached within 4 overs with Matt finishing on 28 not out.
