Westhoughton elected to bat first on what looked a good track against Astley Bridge who were lying 5th in the league.

The Honour brothers opened but Harry was bowled round his legs for a duck not playing a shot.The pressure was on as Hodgy nicked off behind for 24 bringing Kingy to the wicket.With Bridge appealing for lbw Charlie Honour was unluckily run out after Kingy called for a single.Charlie taken by surprise was run out with a direct throw at the bowlers end not anticipating the throw. This brought JP to the wicket and a partnership of 250+ was put on with Kingy reaching his hundred before JP got caught at mid-off for 84. Kingy batted on reaching 129* taking the score to 330-4 after 50 overs with Kai unbeaten on 12.

In reply Bridge lost early wickets as Dan Higham and Matt Fanning bowled tight lines. Wasim,Charlie & Ollie Turner all got a chuck picking up wickets as Bridge were bowled out for 74 inside 30 overs.

7 points as Westhoughton go 6 points clear at the top.
