Egerton were put into bat and were under pressure from the first ball as Matt Fanning and Dan Higham opened up.Dan made the initial breakthrough with a return catch off his own bowling.
Matt then got into the action removing Jim Snowden bowled then taking a second wicket caught & bowled shortly after having the same batsman caught behind only to be given not out much to JP’s disgust.Matt finished his spell with another caught behind to JP returning figures of 3-14 off 7 overs.
Nathan Blair and Simon Ashcroft completed a double bowling change.
Nathan immediately got into the action taking 4 wickets for 27 in his 10over spell before finishing off the innings with a superb one handed catch off Simon’s bowling to break the frustrating last wicket partnership.

Westhoughton made a steady start until Glenn Bullock nicked off for 12 with the keeper taking a sharp catch then shortly after lost Matt Trow for 6 bowled from a shortish delivery which kept a touch low clipping the top of off stump.
