Lancs KO v Denton st Lawrence

We were inserted batting first on a rainy day not ideal
Denton st Lawrence are a top side and gave us a terrific game
They bowl and field well ..backed up by an excellent keeper.

We were deep in the mire and these 3 players all played their part in us getting a decent score off 37 overs 184
Conditions for both teams weren't great .The umpires much maligned did a good job keeping the game going .
St Lawrence started well .we took wickets and worked hard in the rain they were miles behind
Then all of a sudden they were back in the game ... Somehow they only needed 10 off 3 overs
We had dropped a few catches ranging from easy to very difficult surely we had blown it .
Oli bowled a magic over. Simon Ashcroft bowled his first over the penultimate one . First ball bouncer genuine heat then 2 wickets great boundary catches by kingy & Jordan both running and tumbling.
Last over Oli roared in , a bit of a mix up oli took aim , like a tenpin bowler strike he had hit the stumps they were now 9 down .
Full and straight please ,he ran in bowled an absolute Jaffa knocking the off stump clean out of the ground .
We had won, they had blown it , we kept going .. Under pressure we had come through
