charlies injury doesn't spoil cup success

I was assessing this time at quegs again in Blackburn so once again I arrived late .
Danny and Robert were still at the crease & we had got to 40 odd for 0
Horwich have a lancashire lady who is an excellent off spinner and on the England's epp so is a class act ,however Danny had other ideas and he decided to try and hit her on to horwich baths roof he didn't and was caught by their pro
Rob soon followed his mate caught behind off the same bowler
Enter the pro and our Oliver they began to rebuild the innings , they did a good job the pro eventually nicking off to young haydock caught by the other young haydock ,a notable scalp for them. KP didn't trouble the scorers played down the wrong line.Rob brown had earlier run himself out .
Enter Sean fresh from a romantic break with her indoors, batted out of his skin with 3 new shots in his locker now has 4 shots
Oliver showing us the form we were promised at the start of the season hit a huge 6 into rams bottom road to get to 51 , I went over the road to find the ball which I did ,when I returned I saw Newbs Walking back LBW well batted son.
Dunning now full of confidence hit the ball to all parts finally went for an excellent 48
Athy came in and plonked 2 huge sixes into back gardens before getting caught on the edge .Enter charlie Honour who faced up to the last over , the first ball came he smashed it to the extra cover boundary. He fell over had he been shot ?
He was in a heap on the floor in pain it didn't look good , Pilky rang for the ambulance .
We went on to the ground to see how he was ......in shock ........would he get a not out ?
The paramedics came and it appears he popped his knee out and then it went back in ....he will be fine after a break ......good news indeed ...get well soon Charles
215 was our score....tea was taken
Morris & billing ton the lancs left handed opened the batting they gave a slow but steady start too slow I think
Kaiser had billington lbw and Morris nicked off to Paisley off Beany
Enter their pro & cav they batted well, this was the game.
They added 60 odd the cav hit one to Newby he was out ,Morris the dad was hit on the full by edwards he was out then chalks was run out by Naylor without facing a ball about 30,000 runs gone in 1 over .
Their pro then ran a risky single to asdas finest rob brown who made amends from an earlier error hit the stumps directly
Tina ran past a kaiser spinner and was stumped expertly.
Then that was that Newbs showed us a fantastic running tumbling catch to more or less finish it
The boys had done well , we had done all the things we hadn't done well on the Saturday
We need to be more consistent and only hit 6s and not 12s
All my own work

Regards JP
