1sts keep their good form going but other title challenges also pick up wins elsewhere.

Westhoughton travelled to 2013 league champions and 2014 Hamer Cup runners up Little Lever expecting a tough test, but what they got was anything but.
Having won the toss, returning captain Rob Houghton elected to bat and it paid off as Dan Naylor (20) made a solid start alongside Atiq before he was caught. What followed was almost like a training session for Atiq (124 not out) and Qaiser (59) who batted for 30 overs without looking in any real danger before Qaiser tried to up the run rate and was caught on the boundary looking for consecutive sixes. Pilky soon followed for 10, but Atiq continued on his way alongside Sean Dunning who added a useful 20 not out in no time, including 6 off the last ball of the innings to add insult to injury for the Lever team.
Little Lever were never really in the game as the total of 267-3 was always going to be too much, and they were soon reduced to 31-4 thanks to Qaiser and Matt Fanning (3-27 from 7 overs). Wickets continued to fall at regular intervals with only one batter scoring more than 16 runs. Dan Higham picked up a wicket and there was a run out for Dan Naylor to add to Qaiser's 5-27 from 17.5 overs. Next up is Farnworth in what is a must-win game for both sides if they have any realistic chances of catching leaders FSC.
