First team away at bradshaw

Skipper rob Houghton won the toss and we decided to have a bowl .The start was slightly delayed and the overs reduced to 47 each side.
Once again the Pro and Kieran Edwards opened the bowling.
Bradshaw made a decent start until Edwards removed Hudson after mistiming a pull shot to Ste Parker. Edwards then removed young Bradley Yates with a decent nut.
In came saeed anwar junior and grafted against some tight bowling.Jason dunning had a chuck ,he is continuing to improve and will only get better.
We eventually got rid of the dangerous anwar for 48 by the pro and AtIq combination.
The remaining innings stopped and started AtIq showed he is more than a capable bowler picking up a cheeky 4 for..
KP behind the stumps picked up a couple of victims and will be disappointed he didn't take another stumping. There were.decent catches in the deep by Edwards and Naylor.
In the end wcc pro bowled unchanged and showed he is a quality bowler.
We certainly did a good job fielding and kept bradshaw down to 170 all out .We thought this was a little below parr.
However
The second half did not go at all to plan.
We were bowled out for 88 with 10 overs or 60 balls needing 73 more runs to win on possibly the shortest boundary we will play on. I accept all the bradshaw bowlers didn't make it easy for us but why should they !!!
I know how hard the game can be ........and how easy it is for those watching
However we must think about how we have got out and put more of a price on our wickets.
We have the talent to sort this blip out and let's sort it
