A lovely tribute was held on Saturday 22nd July at St George’s Oval for life member and former secretary, Tony Sharples.
Committee member, Pete Giles announced the opening of an area of the ground dedicated to Tony who sadly passed away on 10th August 2020, aged 59. The event was attended by Tony's family and friends, Westhoughton CC members and supporters and his Manchester United supporting friends he went to every match with home and away with. RIP Tony very sadly missed!
