Westhoughton
v Kearsley 21st May 2005
Rain Saves Westhoughton's
Blushes v Kearsley
Heavy afternoon rain saved the day for the champions and league leaders
as Westhoughton got out of jail after being dismissed for just 79. Skipper
Steve Parker was largely responsible for preventing the
score being even more embarrassing with a knock of 34. Kearsley lost a
wicket in the first over but were well on their way of overcoming the
home side's small total, but fortunately for Westhoughton, the heavens
opened and prevented any further play with Kearsley left frustrated on
45-2 in the 11th over. |
