Greenmount v Westhoughton 30th April 2005 Last Ball Drama Westhoughton kept their supporters waiting as they clinched an exciting victory over Greenmount with the final ball of the game. A win was needed to boost moral after last week's disappointment at home to Farnworth Social Circle and the champions were fairly happy at the break, restricting the home side to 153-9 from the reduced allolocation of overs due to the earlier rain. Andy Bowker top scored for the Bury side with 35 while Westhoughton Pro, Antonio Mayers took 5-75 and Mubarek Patel took 3-42. In reply Steve Parker laid the foundations for the victory with 43, and Adam Coates chipped in with 42 but it was left to Mubarek Patel to hit the winning run off the last delivery.
