CRICKET
Westhoughton
Cricket Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting
the wellbeing of all its members. The club believes that it
is important that members , coaches, administrators and parents
associated with the club should, at all times ,show respect,
encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns
or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club
with Stephen Barton (Chair Junior Committee) or any other
official of the club.

The season starts on Saturday 28th April for the first and
second X1.
The U13s have a free morning on Sunday 29th April but the
first X1 are at home to Highfield in the National Knockout
that afternoon.
The U15s get our junior season underway on the Monday night
with a home game against Farnworth, the U18s playing the same
opposition away on Wed / Thu evening.
Coaching is available
for 7 to 15 year olds every Friday night throughout the summer
between the hours of 6.15pm to 8.30pm - new players welcome.
2009 nets start on Friday 17th April 2009.
Junior results
will be published as soon as possible on the website if they
are sent through to the address at the top of the homepage
(Just result, opponent and any good performances e.g retire
batting, 5 wickets bowling etc. are required). Previous results
would be helpful as well as future fixtures.
