| As the evening coincided with 'Children in Need' night, the club organised a collection for the cause. This raised £70 on the night. Thanks to everyone who contributed either by throwing loose change in a bucket at the bar or by paying 50p to request a song from the Disco - or being persuaded to part with whatever money they had left by Lisa when she went round with the bucket at the end of the evening! Ruth and Bill Crook were presented with tokens of the club's appreciation for their long service to the club. Maudine, Enid, Lisa and Jill were presented with flowers for their help with teas etc.
The club also thanked all team managers and coaches for their help on Friday evenings throughout the season.
