New Clubhouse Update

The external work on the new clubhouse is now complete and all the internal walls have now been plastered and painted and the bar has been modernised. Club officials expect the work to be completed within the next couple of weeks as the flooring is almost ready to be fitted with a new carpet and dance floor.

Clubhouse refurbishment began back in September 2005. Below are photos of how the work progressed.

Work has begun on the new clubhouse. The new building is already taking shape after builders and club members finally got shut of the old wooden hut for a more substantial brick building. The outer skin brickwork is now finished and the main internal work will hopefully be done by the end of November. Work will then start on a new roof and the refurbished clubhouse will have a new heating system fitted in the form of an air conditioning system. The room inside will take on a similar shape to the original one with one or two new features to the bar area - A big thank you to all who have given up their spare time to help.
