Lancashire CCC Fixture
at St George's Oval
Lancashire CCC 2nd Xl have confirmed they will play at least one fixture at Westhoughton's new ground, the St George's Oval. The game will be played on Wednesday 21st July against MCC Young Cricketers in the 2nd Xl Championship.
In 2010, the Second XI will play three formats of cricket, Second XI Championship, Second XI Trophy and a 40-over 2 innings knock-out competition (further information on the exact trial format and playing conditions will be confirmed in due course).
Other local grounds to be used by the Red Rose club are Blackpool CC, Todmorden CC, Southport CC, Heywood CC, Crosby CC
and Lytham CC.
Lancashire’s Assistant Coach Gary Yates says “The Second XI always receives great support from Members and spectators when we travel around the county.”
